"Lovely experience at this themed historic cafe. You can tell each room is set up with intention. We had salads and coffee for a late lunch after walking in the San Telmo feria. Service was fast and the waitresses were very attentive. Highly recommended visit if you are around."

"We came here for a romantic coffee, media lunas and a chocolate log after a day of walking the San Telmo markets. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. The food is delicious and the coffee is strong. Really a heartwarming and yum experience. Very nice service. This place does get busy as it's popular!"

"Great spot to see interesting decor inside. We loved the ambiance and the playlist was pretty good too (super random for a Wednesday morning, but great!) The omelette selection was good and came in a big portion size. The cappuccino came with sparkling water, though I could’ve had 3 or 4 since it was tiny The limonada con gingibre y menta was one of the best I’ve had in Buenos Aires. The mini tortilla was a great size for one person. The brownie came cold but had an almost mousse like texture and was rich and delicious. Wish they had a with or without but option, but otherwise it was nice. Highly recommend!"

"We stopped here for mid-afternoon snacks and drinks and were pleasantly surprised. Nice decor, inside and outside, and very friendly, helpful staff. A wide ranging menu, both food and drinks. The food was good, but portion sizes were larger than expected (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing). The draught beer was very good. Would definitely return."

"The ham & cheese croissant was absolutely delicious!! Thoroughly enjoyed having my croissant & coffee here in the morning whilst it was raining outside. The food really is great quality & fast service! The cafe itself is in a very beautiful, old building full of character. I was a little disappointed with the service, I didn’t find the waiters very friendly & found some of them a little rude, even when I asked for the bill the lady didn’t even acknowledge me & asked another waiter to prepare the cheque."

"Cute bakery with ice cream and sandwiches. We enjoyed our paninis very much! The ice cream and big fat chocolate chip cookie was awesome too!"

"LOVED IT. I liked that the breakfast had options for savory (eggs, ham and cheese medialunas, etc) and all the sweets you could expect at a cafe in BsAs. The interior is really neat, straight out of history. There is a lot of seating, too. We are here for breakfast a couple times on our trip."
